    this is great! i'll definitely be using this substitute for a doubly-nested for loop

    agreed, cool trick! even more succinct than the nested hack I've been using, and the perf increase from bitwise ops is welcome

    Yes, I've used this so much, I guess it's just more obvious in this one. I've taken technique a step further in d/20707 converting yonatan's 3 loops into one. bitwise can be very powerful to manipulate the variables a loop traverses.
