    the thing that strikes me is the black and white balls never move, only their connections.... but it looks like the whole plane is aliv

    @donbright To achieve that: Starting with a single tile, every other tile is flipped on the X axis. And then to flip a tile, I need to both invert the tile's pixels and also to flip it on the Y axis. Lots of XOR was needed :)

  • A brute force approach to circle packing. A lot of thanks to jsgolf slack channel residents @xem and @qfox helped **a lot** reducing my original 167 characters attempt ( https://codegolf.tk/a/152 ), as in actually doing most of it. I honestly did not think reaching 140 bytes was possible.
