https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s0… Golden *morphic* angle for circles. 76.34541 if you want degrees. Both are the best *and* shortest single float approximation respectively. The traditional golden angle of 137.50777 degree (2.3999631 radian) has its uses, but this one has a few more tricks up its sleeve.

Try 2.3999631 for maximum IEEE single float precision (it'll expand internally to 2.3999631404876708984375 due to how IEEE754 works)

btw, changing the angle a from 137.5 to 137.3 or 137.6 produce different, albeit nice, patterns.

Although the point about radians is fully correct, I'd like to point out that the most accurate IEEE single float approximation of this angle in degrees is 137.50777 (which internally becomes 137.5077667236328125)
