Runs perfectly fine at 60 fps in the iPhone browser, but a choppy 10-15 FPS in Chrome on my superpowered work laptop. What a time to be alive.

Interesting! Several of those straight up don't render for me. Only the "black joker" has a colourful emoji representation, the rest are transparent utf-8 ideographs.

i really like this one... the way it works is really interesting, variable size "pixels" plus blur

Wait whoops, I just realised the filter doesn't do anything because I apply it before I reset the canvas in the first for loop. The blurry effect is just from the variable-sized pixels. Interesting?
