High resolution Game of Life with a constant ground layer. It will eventually start cycling. To increase FPS swap 2e4->6e3. To hide the ground swap 4e3->5e3.

Right now the formula is generating surface points on a coil-like curve. You can get a more ghostly banana by modifying the last two arguments of xfillRect to 5 and the first argument of Math.max to 0.03. You can probably golf this further by drawing circles with radius of M on a simple curve going through the banana's core.
