Hah, awesome idea! This reminds me of those transporter rings from Stargate
  • u/tomxor
This can go a little bit smoller: ((X**2+Z**2)<.1)&(M=Y-S(t))>0&M<.8&M%.1<.05 => s<.1&(M=Y-S(t))+1&M*18
  • u/Agnes
You're right, I completely forgot s was already X^2 + Y^2!!! I would never have come up with the binary &M*18 though

I tried for like two hours to make the logo do the "noise inside -> white on black" transition and there's just no way. You can almost do it with x.clip(new Path2D()) and an SVG path for the letters but I couldn't get it below 250-300 chars.
  • u/lewdev
    Wow, that's amazing!
  • u/tomxor
Nice! recreating media is always tricky when there's typography involved.

  • Smoller Deterministic TV Static

Temporal coherence gradually creeps in from the top left, but I think it's worth it for the size. There is a smaller one i**3/t%1 but this quickly shows ordered structure after 10 seconds.
  • u/lewdev
👏👏🏆 You won the static battle. 🙇‍♂️ This is amazing.
