It works by starting at a big radius and going to zero, and with that radius draw a circle around each pivot points. Each pixel ends up being painted with the color of its closed pivot point.

    This is so cool!
  • u/cantelope
this is great, and the series it inspired is great

Now, it would be even nicer if the phases were aligned such that the blocks look like a tank's caterpillars!

@Axioplase do you get what you want with o*(-.5) ?

    Perfect colors!
  • u/tzador
Almost, if only we had a few more bytes..
  • u/rodrigo.siqueira
Can you paste in the comments the larger version (with your color idea)? Maybe there are ways to save a few more bytes.. e.g.instead of 430+(9*i*j/30+i*13)-5*j you can use 500+i*j/3+i*9-j*5 (6 bytes smaller) or even 300+i*j/3+i*9 (10 bytes smaller)
  • u/rodrigo.siqueira
And you also save 4 bytes by using 9*j+360+h directly inside x.fillRect (instead of defining y=9*j+360+h and then using y)
  • u/rodrigo.siqueira
And also x.fillStyle=R() instead of x.fillStyle='#000'
